Yorkshire brewery Acorn is to continue with its range of single-hopped IPAs through 2012.

The Barnsley company launched the concept in 2007 and to date has produced 57 beers in this style. All the beers are produced from the same malt grist and feature 5% ABV. Only the hop changes from brew to brew.

Acorn now has a further 12 US hop strains lined up for the IPA treatment. The first in the series this year is Glacier. This will be followed by IPAs seasoned solely with Northern Brewer and Delta hops.
