Peterborough-based brewery Oakham Ales has added Scarlet Macaw to its range of regular beers.

The 4.4% fruity, bitter beer, previously released as an occasional brew, joins JHB, Inferno, Citra and Bishops Farewell in the permanently-available Oakham selection.

Oakham’s seasonal offerings continue with the chestnut-coloured Preacher (4.3%), inspired by a character from the Clint Eastwood film Pale Rider. The beer is on sale until March.
