Alloa brewer Williams Bros is to work with supermarket giant Morrisons to develop its range of craft beers in Scotland.

The brewery will act as a consultant and supply hub for beers from Scottish microbreweries, advising on categories and delivering beers into the supermarket’s system.

Four breweries will initially be part of the supply chain – Inveralmond, Fyne Ales, Traditional Scottish Ales and Isle of Skye – and their beers will join Williams Bros brands such as 7 Giraffes and Birds & Bees on Morrisons shelves.

Eleven beers in total will form the first package, with more beers due to be added throughout 2012.
