London’s Kernel Brewery has won the supreme champion beer title at this year’s International Beer Challenge with its Export Stout (London 1890).

The beer also claimed the Stout & Porter category award. Other category winners were Stewart Hollyrood (Scotland), Brasserie des Source Belle Rose (France), Rechitskoe Zolotistoe (Belarus), Keler 18 (Spain), Weihenstephaner Vitus (Germany), Mort Subite Kriek (Belgium), Estrella Damm Daura (Spain) and Schöfferhofer Hefeweizen Alkoholfrei (Germany).

McLaren Vale Dry, from Australia, was judged supreme champion on the packaging side of the competition.
