The Society of Independent Brewers (SIBA) has launched a new scheme for pubs that serve locally-brewed beer.

SIBA Locals replaces the organization’s previous SIBA Pub Associate scheme and recognizes that more and more customers are looking for local products when they eat and drink out.

Brass plaques for outside display will be presented to pubs that join the scheme and serve local beers. Membership costs £55 a year, though some pubs may be eligible for discounts.
