Specialist beer importer James Clay has acquired a limited quantity of draught Brekle’s Brown, a short-run brown ale produced by Anchor Brewing in San Francisco.

The 6% ABV beer, seasoned with Citra hops, is named after Gotlieb Brekle, who founded the brewery in the 19th century.

It joins a selection of other Anchor beers – including the famous Steam Beer and Liberty Ale – in the draught selection supplied to UK pubs and bars by James Clay.
