Pub industry quality surveyor Cask Marque has launched a new accreditation scheme for the best brewery training projects, taking its role in the market beyond its initial remit of assessing the standard of cask beer on sale.

The Beautiful Beer certificate will be awarded to breweries that offer high quality schemes to improve the dispense of beer in pubs. The first two schemes to be accredited are run by Heineken UK and Carlsberg.

Beautiful Beer was originally the name given to an industry-funded project launched by the British Beer and Pub Association to promote the drink.
