London brewer Fuller’s is turning back the clock with its new range of limited-edition bottled beers.

The Past Masters selection is comprised of one-off brews drawn from the Fuller’s brewing books of yesteryear. Each beer will have a single run of 150 barrels and the first in the range, XX Strong, is now on sale.

The beer has been researched for Fuller’s by brewing historian Ron Pattinson and care has been taken to source ingredients that are as close as possible to those available when this particular beer was brewed, way back in 1891.

Bottle conditioned, the 7.5% ABV beer is intended for bottle ageing and should mature well over the next few years.
