Chiswick brewer Fuller’s has announced strong half-year results.

Profit before tax for the 26 weeks ending 25 September rose 11% to £16.8 million, with managed pubs and hotels profits rising 3.3% and a 1% increase on the tenanted side of the business.

The Fuller’s Beer Company also reported volumes up 1% in a difficult market, although own-brewed beer sales were down 2%.
