One of the iconic beers of the British craft brewing movement is now available in bottle for the first time.

Butcombe Bitter (4% ABV) was for many years the only beer produced at Butcombe Brewery, which opened near Bristol in 1978 and rapidly developed into one of the mainstays of the small brewery sector.

The ale is now being bottled for Butcombe by Fuller’s in London, at a slightly higher ABV of 4.5%. It is currently available in Asda stores in the Bristol area, with a listing in Morrisons nationwide due in January.
