The number of entries in the world’s largest beer competition continue to grow.

This year’s Great American Beer Festival contest, staged in Denver, Colorado, saw a record 3,523 American beers entered, a rise of nine per cent on last year’s event. The most competitive category was again for American-Style IPAs.

The festival, staged 16–18 September, this year attracted 49,000 visitors, with more than 2,200 beers served in the hall. Full details of medallists can be found in our Beer Awards Results section.
