An old favourite from the Young’s stable is set to return this autumn.

Ram Rod, a 5% amber beer named in honour of the sheep mascot who used to live at Young’s Wandsworth brewery, will make its first appearance in cask form for five years when it is offered as a guest ale in Young’s pubs in September. It will then be served in Wetherspoon pubs as part of the chain’s October beer festival.

The beer is now brewed at the Wells & Young’s brewery in Bedford and is also available in 275 ml bottles.
