A new Yorkshire brewery has been officially opened.

WharfeBank Brewery, run by former Caledonian executive Martin Kellaway, began production in Leeds in April, with the first beer rolling out on 1 May.

The official opening in July was conducted by Leeds North West MP Greg Mulholland and former England cricketer Craig White. Mulholland is also chair of the All Party Save the Pub Group.

WharfeBank head brewer is Ian Smith, previously a head brewer at Tetley’s in Leeds.
