Thornbridge Sales Soar

News: July 2010

Derbyshire’s Thornbridge Brewery has reported greatly increased sales figures for the first half of 2010. The figures are up 115% on the same period a year ago, despite tough trading conditions.

Thornbridge BreweryThe rise is in part due to interest from pub companies that now take Thornbridge beer, with cask ale sales climbing month by month.

Thornbridge moved into a new, purpose-built brewhouse in Bakewell (pictured, with managing director Jim Harrison, left, and operational director Simon Webster) in September last year.

Now the company is aiming to develop output further through increased sales of its bottled beers, such as Jaipur IPA, Kipling and Saint Petersburg.
