Samuel Adams Utopias 2009, from the Boston Beer Company, has been judged overall supreme champion at this year’s International Beer Challenge.

The 27%, wood-aged beer was also winner of the Best Speciality Beer award, with other trophies going to beers from Fyne Ales, Harveys, Weihenstephan and Williams Bros. The awards were announced at the Royal Society for the Arts in London by Inside Beer’s Jeff Evans, who was, once again, Chairman of the Judges.
