News: March 2010

Giles Thorley has announced that he is to step down as chief executive officer of pubs group Punch Taverns. He will also leave the board of the company.

Thorley has been with Punch for nine years, during which time the business has grown into the UK’s largest pub company, with currently more than 7,600 pubs in its portfolio.

Punch says that it is well on its way to appointing Thorley’s successor.
