Hook Norton Attracts Women to Cask Beer

Hook Norton has discovered a new way of bringing women into the cask ale fold.
To kick off Cask Ale Week (29 March–5 April), the Oxfordshire brewery’s visitor centre hosted a Bring and Beer event. Ladies attending were asked to bring with them a female friend who does not normally drink cask ale. They were then treated to an evening of food and beer pairing.
Supporting the beer tasting were stands from local businesses selling hand-made gifts, jewellery and flowers. More than 60 women attended and funds generated by the event were donated to Leukaemia Research.
