Kent brewer Shepherd Neame has produced a bottled version of its Canterbury Jack ale for exclusive sale in Tesco stores.

The 4% ABV beer, which has only previously been available in cask form, is being sold in aid of the CLIC Sargent charity that funds children’s cancer nursing in the UK.

The organisation is Tesco’s charity for this year and it is hoped that sales of the beer will contribute £20,000 to the cause.
