News: March 2010

In preparation for the re-opening of the former Bass Museum/Coors Visitor Centre as the National Brewery Centre, two shire horses have been sourced to be residents of the site’s traditional stables.

The horses – of the type once familiar pulling brewery drays – will be on site at weekends and during school and bank holidays once the facility opens on 1 May.

The stables’ previous residents left when the museum closed in 2008.
