News: March 2010

Carlsberg UK has announced that iconic Yorkshire ale Tetley Bitter is to be brewed at Marston’s brewery in Wolverhampton from next year.

The move follows the announcement in 2008 that Tetley’s brewery in Leeds was to close by 2011.

Only the cask-conditioned version of Tetley will leave its home county. The widely-promoted Smoothflow version will be moved to Molson Coors production centre in Tadcaster, North Yorkshire.
