News: March 2010

Kinloch Lodge, the Michelin-starred restaurant on the Isle of Skye owned by cookery writer Claire Macdonald, has joined the growing list of elite establishments that offer a range of beers to accompany their award-winning dishes.

Sixteen beers are on the Kinloch list, 15 of them from Scotland, including Innis & Gunn Blonde and Harviestoun’s Ola Dubh, as well as offerings from Orkney, Black Isle and Arran. The only non-Scottish beer on the list is Samuel Smith’s Organic Raspberry Ale.

The beers are served in flights matched to dishes, with an information card giving details about each beer.
