Yorkshire brewer Copper Dragon has produced a new beer to commemorate the life of one of the county’s greatest sporting heroes.

Freddie Trueman Yorkshire Ale is brewed in memory of the England fast bowler, who died in 2006. The 4% ABV beer was officially launched at the Skipton brewery by former test match umpire, Dickie Bird, a friend and colleague of ‘Fiery Fred’.
