Rugby Stars Launch Welsh Charity Ale

Up and Over is the new charity beer released by Brains of Cardiff.
The 4.2% ABV bottled ale – exclusive to Tesco in Wales – has been brewed to support the efforts of 15 former captains of the Wales rugby team as they attempt to climb Mount Kilimanjaro to raise money for a South Wales cancer unit. The climb is scheduled for September this year and 15p per bottle sold will be donated to the appeal fund.
The beer, which was launched by six of the former captains this month, is light amber in colour and seasoned with four hops – Fuggle, Golding, Styrian Golding and Cascade. It will also be available in cask form in May.
