Sussex craft brewer Dark Star has opened a new brewery to cater for increased demand for its beers.

Dark Star was founded in the cellar of the Evening Star pub in Brighton in 1994. In 2001, the business moved to a purpose-built, 15-barrel brewhouse at Anstey, near Haywards Heath, but this has now been outgrown.

The new premises stands at Partridge Green, 10 miles from Ansty, and triples the brewery’s capacity.
