Stuart Howe, head brewer at Sharp’s in Cornwall, has embarked upon a year of experimentation.

In addition to Sharp’s extensive portfolio of beers, Stuart plans to brew a new beer every week on a small scale (60-litre batches). Recipes will vary considerably and include a wide variety of malts and hops, plus fruits, spices and friendly bacteria. The best will be bottled or sent to beer festivals and the most successful may eventually become regular Sharp’s beers.
