The hard-pressed British pub is the focus of Save Our Boozer, a new reality show broadcast on UK digital TV channel Blighty.

The five-part series sees pub-and-bar entrepreneur Jay Smith offer advice to five rural communities who are fighting back against the tide of pub closures by taking over struggling pubs in their villages.

The first episode airs on Tuesday, 8 December, at 8pm, with three more episodes on subsequent nights, plus a fifth, concluding episode that will be broadcast in February.
