Wetherspoon to Open 250 More Pubs

JD Wetherspoon is to create 10,000 jobs over the next five years, as the pub chain continues its expansion across the UK.

The group currently runs 743 pubs but is to open a further 250, in locations such as Sheffield, Livingston, Leominster, Otley, New Malden, Liverpool, Haverfordwest and Newcastle, at a cost of around £250 million.

The jobs created will be in management as well as in kitchen and bar staffing.
