Jennings to Re-open in January
News: November 2009
Flood-hit Jennings Brewery is likely to re-open in mid-January. The Cockermouth brewery was under five feet of floodwater only a few days ago, but now Marston’s, the parent company, is anticipating a return to production at the site in the New Year.
In the meantime, Jennings beers will be produced at other breweries within the Marston’s group, which includes Banks’s in Wolverhampton, Ringwood in Hampshire, Wychwood in Oxfordshire and Marston’s itself in Burton-on-Trent.
A donation of 10p a pint sold will be made by the company to the Cumbria Flood Recovery Fund.
