Scottish micro BrewDog has acquired its first pub.

The run-down Marischal on Gallowgate, Aberdeen, is to be turned into the BrewDog Bar, serving only BrewDog beers and producing special brews on the premises. ‘Speciality snacks’ will be on the menu to complement the idiosyncratic beer range.

Following a major refurbishment, February 2010 has been earmarked for the re-opening, with tastings and beer-and-food pairing events planned as regular features.
