International Flavour at Wetherspoon Festival
News: October 2009
Wetherspoon’s latest beer festival runs from Wednesday, 28 October, to Sunday, 15 November. During this time, the 735-strong pub chain will be offering up to 50 real ales from across the world, including rare beers from New Zealand, Japan and the USA. Included in the list are Galbraith’s Mr G’s Luncheon Ale (New Zealand), Toshi’s Amber Ale (Japan), Purkmistr Bohemian Schwarzbier (Czech Republic), Port Grumpy’s Pale Ale (USA), Anker Gouden Carolus Ambrio (Belgium) and Namyslow Original Plum Beer (Poland). Additionally, a number of British beers have been produced on draught exclusively for the event. These include Morocco Ale from Daleside Brewery and Banana Bread Beer from Wells & Young’s. Tasting notes and third-of-a-pint glasses complete the festival package. |
