Great American Beer Festival
The first Great American Beer Festival took place in Boulder, Colorado, in 1982. Today, it is held in Denver, Colorado, every October and part of the proceedings involves an extensive judging process, where teams of industry professionals from around the world assess American beers in dozens of finely-honed categories.
